BATHROOM: Master plan; Pinspiration

As ever Pinterest has played a huge part in planning our bathroom refurb, you can find my full board of ideas here, but I thought I would post a few of the highlights below, overall the look I am going for is deco classic with a bit of a modern zesty twist. Pinterest is excellent for both posting beautiful ideas and feels but also as get place to store individual pieces you want to buy and keep the link to for later:

New shower-head to go with our chrome taps – Mira Showers

New bath – This one pictured in person at Wickes but found a better deal at – it’s a rare modern bath as it doesn’t look out-of-place with a deco theme, which is why I loved it so much.

Bath again from another angle

Medicine Cabinet – I found I kept pinning these again and again, but when I went to purchase found that they were easy to get hold of State-side but not in the UK. After a lot of hunting I finally found one seller on Amazon market place and was delighted when I did, yet to install but bought at a price I was very happy with and will post separately when I do install. Unfortunately it now doesn’t seem to be available on Amazon any more, but I have found something very similar at

Gorgeous deco door handle

Possible reproduction deco handle to buy if I can’t find an original one when I come to purchase

Swirl Deco Contemporary Chrome Cistern Handle – WC/Toilet Replacement 99254 – bought on eBay and really happy with it

Brick tiles with grey grout inspiration

Bemis Moulded Wood Black Toilet seat with Black Plastic Hinge: Kitchen & Home – completely transformed our toilet! Very happy with this find

Yellow bathroom wall inspiration from Martha Stewart

On my wish list for bath time

The little things really do make a big difference – I love my light pull

More yellow wall inspiration

Simple striped Roman blind from blinds-to-go

My favourite wall paint colour so far – Warm Yellow from B&Q

2nd hand tiles bought from a charity shop in the Cotswolds on my hen do – nice touch as a splash back for behind the sink (originally Laura Ashley I believe)
