ENGAGED to the love of my life 21.01.2012

It’s been a very exciting week in our family. My second baby niece was born last Thursday and yesterday, I’m very excited to say, my gorgeous boyfriend of 10 years ask me to Marry Him and I said yes! He asked me on the 21st of January as there are 21 diamonds in the ring. And as for the ring itself it was handcrafted by a very talented Etsy Jeweler in Los Angeles so it really is one of a kind and I couldn’t love it more!

We are looking at Spring/ Early Summer 2013 to set the date and I don’t mean to make this blog into a wedding blog but I will list some of the ideas and things I find on here as I find them during the planning process as I do believe it is good to share as many hints and tips as possible. I would love to hear any advice which you have about planning your perfect day – I am a complete novice who is incredibly excited and could do with all the help you can send my way! I hope to hear from you soon – a very excited Bride to be xxx

I just found your blog. I love to read the blog of another Type A 😛 Lots of lists here and I love it. And, super organized. Cute engagement story. That was an exciting week!

Hi Christie, thanks for your comments 🙂 What do you mean by a type A? I do love organising and planning 🙂 It was a very exciting week – feels like a very long time ago now! The other thing that happened that day was I signed up for an online interior design course in the morning before we went on the walk where he proposed! Suffice to say wedding planning somewhat took over my time and I didn’t get very far with it. Wedding planning so easily turns into a second careers, especially at the beginning (just after engagement) and at the end (a month before your big day). Maybe I’ll go back and re-visit a classroom based interior design course in the future. For now just going to focus on getting our project house completed. ATB Gill 🙂
